Tic Tac Nutrition Facts – Beware!

Have you noticed the Tic Tac nutrition information? They’re shockingly low in zero fat, 0 carbohydrates, and 0 sugar. Based on these figures, Tic Tacs are just as healthy as water. How come!

They’re not – Tic Tac nutrition facts are based on a neat little trick! Let me explain:

It all comes down to serving size. US Federal regulations specify that when a single serving has less than 0.5 grams of sugar, it is possible to declare the amount of sugar contained in the serving as zero.

Due to the fact that Tic Tac is small, they can count the nutrition information on it as 0 since it’s almost none grams.

They’re sugar-free Beware of the purchase. It may seem like they’re innocent when you first glance at them. But don’t get fooled by the appearance – Tic Tacs are still candy disguised as fun mints. The label on the front proclaims that every Tic Tac “mint” is less than 2 calories.

Anyone who has tried the orange flavor Tic Tac is aware that you don’t only possess one. You’re lucky if you do not eat the entire bottle in one go. It’s difficult not to think this is a scam.

I can remember my first experience when I saw that they were “healthy” Tic Tacs. I was driving, buying sweets at a stop (typical). To my companion’s dismay, I was glued on another candy that was harmful to my health. “Why do you not eat healthier candy? Take a look at the sugar and carbs within these!”

She was not wrong. I’d consumed plenty of candy during the trip, and it was time to tone the sweetness down. “Okay,” I conceded, “let me see what I can find here.”

Over the next couple of minutes, I scoured in the grocery store for something that didn’t have so many carbs. I then saw something similar on the shelves:

I’ve always remembered having Tic Tacs back when I was in the midst of being a child. The mint was one that was easy to eat the entire box of. And who isn’t carrying even the peppermint variety! The focus is on the citrus Tic Tac! After I had checked the nutritional information, I was sure I had found the answer to all my issues. There was no fat! No carbs! This is the sweet treat I’d have for the rest of my life and then finally become healthy.

I bought them; however, after further research on the trip, I and my girlfriend reached a shocking conclusion that it was an untruth.

It’s good marketing or deceitful; however, Tic Tacs still have sugar in their contents (shocker) and contain yellow 6 rice starch and carnauba wax. What is the reason the nutrition facts state that there’s nothing in them even though there are dangerous substances?

If you’re not making use of Tic Tacs to make mints, my suggestion for you is to clear of Tic Tacs! There are better alternatives available, and you’re not “healthy” by eating Tic Tacs. It’s just a matter of being stupid, just like me!
